Detailed itinerary
Day 1; arrival and Kigali city tour and drive to Volcanoes national park
You will be picked up from Kigali international airport on arrival and your guide will welcomeyou and drive you around Kigali city on a city tour around Kigali and visit the Kimironkomarket, Kigali Genocide Memorial site and other places in the city of Rwanda.
After the city tour, you will start the journey to Volcanoes national park the home to mountaingorillas in Rwanda where you will check in and spend the night and also have dinner.

Day 2; gorilla trekking in Rwanda
After an early breakfast at the lodge in Volcanoes national park, you will proceed to the Kinigipark headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking in Rwanda. You will be guided by the rangerguides and porters to assist you during the search for the gorillas in their natural habitat.
You will spend 1 hour with the gorillas after finding them and enjoy taking photos and videos.After the gorilla trek in Volcanoes national park, you will return to the lodge where you will havedinner and spend the night.

Day 3; transfer to Nyungwe national park
You will have breakfast at the lodge in Volcanoes national park and prepare for the drive toNyungwe national park.

Day 4; chimpanzee trekking and canopy walk
After having breakfast early at the lodge, you will transfer to the Nyungwe park headquarters fora briefing on chimpanzee trekking. You will go with ranger guides to search for the chimpanzeesin the forest and during the trek; you will see the chimpanzees in the trees as they swing fromone branch to another. You will also have a chance to record the chimpanzees and after the trekyou will return to the park headquarters.
You will also engage in a canopy walk on this day after having lunch and enjoy an aerial view ofthe Nyungwe forest from a suspended bridge as you enjoy a guided nature walk with your guide.After the canopy walk, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5; Drive to Kigali
You will have breakfast at the lodge in Nyungwe national park and your guide will drive you back to Kigali where you will be dropped off at the Kigali international airport which will bring the safari to an end.
