Day 1: pick up, Kigali city tour and drive to Volcanoes national park
You will be picked up from Kigali and our company representative will welcome you for the tour in Rwanda. You will explore the capital city of Rwanda on this day and tour the hotels, fine restaurants, busy and colourful markets, and lovely local crafts.
In the afternoon you shall experience the delights of Kigali city as we go for a city tour and visit some interesting, historical sites like the Kigali Memorial Centre. After having lunch, you will start the 2 hour drive to Volcanoes national park.
Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla Nest Lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Volcanoes national park
After breakfast, you will have a briefing at the park headquarters as you prepare for gorilla tracking inn Volcanoes national park. You will be assigned ranger guides as you prepare for the unforgettable meeting with the mountain gorillas of Rwanda.
You will explore the dense forests as you search for the mountain gorillas and get to spend 1 hour in their presence. After this activity, you will visit the Iby’iwacu cultural village for a cultural experience and later drive back to the lodge.
Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla Nest Lodge.
Day 3; departure
Your guide will drive you back to Kigali after having breakfast at the lodge in Volcanoes national park and you will be dropped off at Kigali international airport which will bring the tour to an end.
